Tracking every public Rust server. Player counts, wipes and ranks, refreshed every five minutes, times in UTC.
The in-game server browser tells you a name and a number. It does not tell you when the last wipe was, how the population moved overnight or whether the server fills on a Friday and dies by Monday. Rust Tracker keeps that record.
Sources, on the board:
- Steam's public Rust server list: names, player counts, queues and the tags each server publishes.
- Direct queries to each server: map seed, FPS and entity count. Not every server answers. Servers that stay quiet show what Steam publishes and nothing more.
From those sources the site keeps player counts, wipes, ranks and history for every public server. Use it to find a fresh wipe, a busy server in your region or the right group limit before you commit to a join. The live server list is the main board. Wipe times are on the wipe schedule and the force wipe countdown tracks the monthly wipe.
Ranks: players over the past week, hour by hour. A server busy every day ranks above one that fills for a single evening after a wipe. Lists are ordered by player count. Never by payment. Advertising is separate and marked; see advertising.
Ownership: Rust Tracker is independent, built by Rust players. Not affiliated with Facepunch Studios. Nothing here is endorsed by them. Server names, descriptions and images belong to the people who run those servers.
Corrections: everything shown comes from what servers publish about themselves. If your server's entry looks wrong, the fix is usually in the server's own settings. Changes appear within about five minutes. If it still looks wrong, write to hello@rusttracker.space.
