What does Rust Tracker cover?
All public Rust servers listed by Steam, with current player counts, queue length, wipe and next-wipe times in UTC, plus a seven-day player rank. You get the full picture of which servers are busy and which are quiet at any hour. Nothing private, nothing unlisted.
How often does the data refresh?
Steam's public server list is polled every five minutes, so player counts and queues are never older than that. Servers are also queried directly for map, seed and region. A wipe is logged within about five minutes of the server reporting a new world.
Who runs Rust Tracker, and is it official?
Rust Tracker is a separate, independent site. It is not operated by Facepunch, a server network or a host, and has no tie to any of them. Every figure comes from public sources: Steam's server list and responses from the servers themselves.
How do I find a server to play on right now?
Open the live server list and narrow it by region, group limit, gather rate and wipe schedule. Sort by players to see what is filling up, or by next wipe for a fresh start. The just-wiped list shows servers that reset in the last few hours.
